Two ways in

Run it yourself or hand it to us.

The building works both ways, and plenty of accounts use a bit of each. Tell us which sounds like you and the quote comes back inside 48 hours.

Your own space

Dedicated square footage inside the building. Lay it out and run it your way. Your staff and your process, or ours — we handle the building and the dock either way.

  • Footprints from 1,000 sq ft
  • Use the space any way you like — your racking, your layout, your process
  • Terms measured in months, not a five-year lease and a build-out
  • Room to expand without moving buildings

We run it for you

Pallet storage and handling by our crew: receiving, put-away, carton work, container de-stuffing, cross-dock, and freight on our own trucks.

  • Pallet storage from a few dozen positions — no hard minimum if it moves
  • Overflow, seasonal and ongoing storage alike
  • High-pile ESFR racking under 28 ft clear
  • Receiving, carton work, cross-dock and container de-stuffing by our crew
  • Storage and freight on one invoice

What is the Rolls Right Calgary warehouse?

The Rolls Right Calgary warehouse is a 100,000+ sq ft facility at Unit 1A, 4770 68 Avenue SE in Calgary, Alberta, open and onboarding new customers now. It has 28-foot clear height, six dock doors, ESFR sprinkler protection rated for high-pile storage, and a 47 by 35 foot column grid. It handles dry ambient goods: pallet storage, high-pile racking, receiving and handling, carton pick and pack, container de-stuffing and drayage, cross-docking, dedicated warehouse space, sealed shelf-stable food, and packaged beverage storage. Temperature-controlled and bonded storage run through Rolls Right's Vancouver operations — frozen and chilled food at Rolls Right Cold Storage, which is HACCP certified and food grade — connected to Calgary by the company's own trucks, and rail freight reaches the Calgary floor by daily drayage off the CN and CP ramps. Rolls Right also runs its own trucking fleet from the site, including a Calgary–Vancouver line haul six days a week.

Southeast Calgary, minutes from Peigan, Stoney, Barlow and Glenmore. That's the corridor most retail distribution runs through. Twenty-eight foot clear with ESFR protection means we rack higher than most buildings here can, and take commodity classes a standard system has to refuse.

How onboarding works

From first call to first pallet.

Onboarding is a credit check and a signed agreement. Moving from another provider? We phase the move on our own trucks, so you're never running from zero.

  1. Tell us what you move

Pallet count, how often it turns, what's in it, and where it ships. Five minutes on the form or ten on the phone.

    Day 0

  2. We quote it

Storage, handling in and out, container work and freight, every line visible. If the building doesn't fit your product we say so here, not later.

    Within 48 hours

  3. Walk the floor

Come and see it. A site tour is the fastest way to know whether a building works for you, and we'd rather you looked before you signed.

    Your schedule

  4. Credit and agreement

A standard credit check and a signed agreement. No procurement marathon, no five-year lease.

    2–3 days

  5. First receipt

Your first inbound is walked by a supervisor, not handed to whoever's on shift. After that it's routine.

FAQ

Calgary questions

How much space is actually available?

Tell us the footprint or the pallet count you need and we'll confirm straight away whether it's there. We don't drip-feed availability, and we won't hold you in a discovery call to find out.

Is there a minimum?

There's a practical minimum that makes an account work for both of us, but it isn't a hard gate. A smaller customer who ships weekly is often better business than a larger one who never moves. Ask us.

Can I take my own space and run it with my own people?

Yes. Dedicated square footage run your way — your staff and equipment or ours — with shared access to the docks. No build-out, no separate utility accounts, and terms measured in months rather than a five-year lease.

Is this a lease?

No, and that's the point. You take dedicated square footage under a licence inside our operating building — no build-out, no separate utility accounts, and no five-year commitment. The docks, sprinklers, heating and security are already running, terms are measured in months, and there's room to expand inside the building as you grow. If you'd rather not staff it, our crew works the same floor.

Do you publish rates?

No. What you pay depends on what you store, how often it moves, and whether freight comes with it. A published number would be wrong for almost everyone. You will have a real quote within 48 hours.

How quickly can I be receiving?

Days. Onboarding is a credit check and a signed agreement, typically two to three days. If you're transitioning off another provider we'll work backwards from your date, not ours.

What does moving from another provider look like?

A phased plan, run on our own trucks. We walk your inventory profile first — SKUs, pallet counts, turn rates — then move product in tranches so you're never running from zero. Receiving, put-away and your first outbound are walked by a supervisor rather than handed to whoever's on shift, and the schedule works backwards from your date.

What does Rolls Right do in Calgary?

Rolls Right runs a 100,000+ sq ft warehouse at 4770 68 Avenue SE in Calgary, offering dry ambient pallet storage, high-pile ESFR-protected racking, receiving and handling, carton pick and pack, container de-stuffing and drayage, cross-docking, dedicated warehouse space, and trucking. The building has 28 ft clear height, and Rolls Right's floor has six dock doors.

Do you offer food, temperature-controlled or bonded storage in Calgary?

Those run through Vancouver today: frozen and chilled food at Rolls Right Cold Storage, which is HACCP certified and food grade, and bonded, duty-deferred storage through our Vancouver operation — with our own trucks on the Calgary–Vancouver lane six days a week and refrigerated trucking out of Calgary. The Calgary menu keeps growing, so tell us what you hold and we'll confirm the right building before anyone quotes.

What does ESFR and 28-foot clear actually get me?

Height you can use. Early Suppression Fast Response sprinklers let a building store commodity higher than a standard system allows, so more of your product fits in the same footprint, and we can take classes of goods a non-ESFR building has to refuse.

Is the building rail-served?

We run drayage and transload off the CN and CP ramps daily on our own chassis, so product moving by rail still lands on this floor — no siding required at our door.

Can you take dangerous goods?

Case by case. Send us the class and the SDS and we'll come back with a yes or a no, we won't guess.

Do I have to use your trucking as well?

No. Plenty of customers use one or the other. But the freight is where a lot of the value sits: one company handling storage and transport means one invoice and nobody to point at when something slips.

What kind of companies is this building set up for?

Distributors, manufacturers and importers moving pallets, dry CPG, consumer products, building materials, packaging, industrial and equipment. B2B rather than consumer parcel fulfillment. Accounts range from a few dozen pallets to dedicated square footage.

Can your systems connect to ours?

Yes. The warehouse runs on a WMS we developed in-house, and the developers who built it are the same team that builds the integrations: if your ERP, storefront or network has an API, we can build a custom connection to it. EDI with major retailers is already in place, and stock levels and order status live in the customer portal, so routine questions don't need a phone call.
