What does ESFR actually change for me?
Early Suppression Fast Response sprinklers let a building store commodity higher than a standard system allows. Practically: more of your product fits in the same footprint, and we can take classes of goods a non-ESFR building has to refuse.
Will my product qualify?
Most dry ambient goods will. Send us what you're storing (commodity class, packaging, and how it palletizes) and we'll confirm before we quote.
Anything worth flagging before we quote?
Cooler or freezer product runs at Rolls Right Cold Storage in Vancouver rather than on this floor, and certified or specialty requirements get confirmed case by case — tell us what you hold. Past that, the limit is commodity class against the sprinkler design, and we confirm that before quoting rather than after you've moved in.
Does high-pile storage cost more than standard racking?
Per position it's a similar conversation, but that's the wrong comparison to be making. High-pile changes how many positions your product needs at all, because you're paying for the cube you occupy rather than the floor you cover. Dense, stackable product usually lands on a smaller total than the same pallets would in a building with a lower ceiling — which is why the honest answer needs your actual product rather than a rate.
