Container De-Stuffing & Drayage in Calgary

We pull the container, bring it to the building, strip it, and put the product away. Twenty, forty and forty-five foot. If you import, this is usually the messiest part of your chain and the easiest one to hand over.

Container De-Stuffing & Drayage in Calgary, the short version

We pull the container, bring it to the building, strip it, and put the product away. Twenty, forty and forty-five foot. If you import, this is usually the messiest part of your chain and the easiest one to hand over. Because we own trucks, the drayage and the de-stuff are the same conversation and the same invoice. No two vendors pointing at each other while a container sits. If it's floor-loaded, say so when you ask. A floor-loaded strip holds a crew and a door for considerably longer than a palletised container does, and that difference is worth scheduling around rather than discovering on the day.

Cross-Border Logistics in Calgary?

Cross-border programs run through our Vancouver operation, where the border lanes and the customs relationships already sit. Calgary freight can feed them on our own trucks.

How onboarding works

From first call to first pallet.

Same process whichever service you start with.

  1. Tell us what you move

Pallet count, how often it turns, what's in it, and where it ships. Five minutes on the form or ten on the phone.

    Day 0

  2. We quote it

Storage, handling in and out, container work and freight, every line visible. If the building doesn't fit your product we say so here, not later.

    Within 48 hours

  3. Walk the floor

Come and see it. A site tour is the fastest way to know whether a building works for you, and we'd rather you looked before you signed.

    Your schedule

  4. Credit and agreement

A standard credit check and a signed agreement. No procurement marathon, no five-year lease.

    2–3 days

  5. First receipt

Your first inbound is walked by a supervisor, not handed to whoever's on shift. After that it's routine.

    Days, not months

FAQ

Containers & Drayage in Calgary, questions

Do you handle the customs side?

Clearance itself is filed by whoever handles your customs entries, and bonded storage is a Vancouver capability, not a Calgary one. Once your freight is cleared, Calgary handles the drayage, the strip and the storage on our own equipment.

How fast can you turn a container?

Tell us when it lands and what's in it. Speed on containers is mostly about scheduling the door and the crew ahead of time, which is exactly what we'd rather do than react.

How does a container reach Calgary without a rail siding?

No siding needed. We run drayage and transload off the CN and CP ramps on our own chassis, so rail freight lands at the building without you arranging a separate move or a second vendor. The siding question is the one buyers ask; the ramp is the one that actually matters.

Who pays if a container sits too long?

Worth settling early, because two different clocks run and they're often billed by two different parties. Demurrage is charged at the terminal while the box sits there; detention runs on the equipment once it has left. We run the drayage, so we're managing both, and getting the empty back is part of the service rather than something you chase separately.
