What does Rolls Right Warehousing do?

Rolls Right runs a 100,000 sq ft warehouse at 4770 68 Avenue SE in Calgary, Alberta, offering dry ambient pallet storage, high-pile ESFR-protected racking, receiving and handling, carton pick and pack, container de-stuffing and drayage, cross-docking and dedicated warehouse space. The building has 28-foot clear height and 12 dock doors. Rolls Right is a family-owned Western Canada logistics company founded in 1976, now in its second generation, and it owns its own trucking fleet — roughly 165 power units and 500 trailers — so warehousing and freight come from one company. It does not offer temperature-controlled, bonded or certified food-grade storage in Calgary.

What we do

Store it, handle it, ship it.

Three things happen to your product in our building, and we charge for them separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Store

Space that fits the product

Twenty-eight foot clear with ESFR protection means we rack higher than most Calgary buildings can, so you pay for the cube you use rather than the floor you cover.

  • Pallet positions, monthly
  • High-density and high-pile racking
  • Short-term transient overflow
  • Dedicated square footage and offices

Handle

Everything between the truck and the rack

Receiving, put-away, counts, staging and load-out across 12 doors. On an active account this is often as big a line as the storage — we would rather you knew that up front.

  • Receiving and put-away
  • Cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Carton pick, pack and labelling
  • Container de-stuffing, 20 ft to 45 ft

Ship

Our trucks, not somebody else's

Around 80 trailers based in Calgary and a lane to Vancouver six days a week. One company for the warehouse and the freight means nobody to point at when something slips.

  • LTL and full truckload
  • Calgary–Vancouver line haul, six days
  • Cross-dock and transload
  • Retail DC delivery with appointments

Why us

Warehousing is a trust purchase.

You are handing us your inventory and betting we will not drop it, lose it, or ship it late. Here is what that bet is actually based on.

1976Same family, second generation

We are not going anywhere

No private equity, no roll-up, no ownership change. When you hand us your inventory, you are betting we will still be here, still be us, and still be reachable in five years. That bet is the product, and we make sure it holds.

1 quoteEvery line visible

Straight pricing, no surprises

Storage, handling in, handling out, container work and freight, all on one page. No accessorial charges that appear in month three. We are pleasantly competitive on rate, and we would rather win on being easy to deal with.

165+Power units, plus ~500 trailers

The trucks are ours

Most companies the market calls a 3PL run the warehouse and hand your freight to somebody else. We own the equipment. When a load is late there is no gap between the warehouse and the carrier for the problem to hide in.

You will not wait on us

Tell us what you move and a real number comes back inside two business days. Onboarding is a credit check and a signed agreement. If you need to be receiving in days, say so — it is usually possible.

Calgary is dry ambient. If you need temperature-controlled space, bonded storage, co-packing or e-commerce fulfillment, that is the Lower Mainland — and we run the lane between them six days a week.

FAQ

Straight answers

What does Rolls Right do in Calgary?

Rolls Right runs a 100,000 sq ft warehouse at 4770 68 Avenue SE in Calgary, offering dry ambient pallet storage, high-pile ESFR-protected racking, receiving and handling, carton pick and pack, container de-stuffing and drayage, cross-docking, dedicated warehouse space, and trucking. The building has 28 ft clear height and 12 dock doors.

How quickly can Rolls Right take on a new Calgary warehousing customer?

Days rather than months. Space is available now, and onboarding is a credit check and a signed agreement — typically two to three days. Quotes are returned within 48 hours.

Does Rolls Right offer temperature-controlled or bonded storage in Calgary?

No. The Calgary facility is dry ambient only. There is no cooler or freezer storage, no bonded storage, and no SQF, BRCGS, AIB or GMP food-grade certification. Rolls Right does run refrigerated trucking, and its Vancouver operation has temperature-controlled and bonded space.

Is Rolls Right a 3PL or a trucking company?

Both. Rolls Right was founded in 1976 as an asset-based trucking company and runs roughly 165 power units and 500 trailers. It added freight brokerage in 2021 and third-party warehousing in 2023. Unlike most 3PLs, it owns its transport equipment, so storage and freight come from one company on one invoice.

Who owns Rolls Right?

Rolls Right is a family-owned Western Canada logistics company, founded in 1976 and run by the second generation of the same family. It is not private-equity owned and is not part of a roll-up.

Does Rolls Right publish warehouse storage rates?

No. Pricing depends on what is stored, how often it moves, and whether freight is attached, so a published rate would be wrong for most enquiries. A quote with every line itemised is returned within 48 hours of an enquiry.

Tell us what you move.

Pallet count, how often it turns, where it ships. A real number back inside 48 hours — and a straight answer about whether we're the right building.
