For apparel and outdoor brands shipping retail and e-commerce
The season lands in one wave. You ship it two ways.
Warehousing for apparel, footwear and outdoor brands in Vancouver — container de-stuffing 14 minutes off the port, bonded duty-deferred storage available while the season clears, and pick and pack that ships stores and web orders from one pool of stock, delivered on our own trucks.
Brands that trust us
Does Rolls Right handle apparel and outdoor brands?
Yes. Rolls Right stores and ships apparel, footwear and outdoor gear from its 200,000+ sq ft Vancouver warehouse at 3200 E Broadway, about 14 minutes from the GCT Vanterm container terminal. It de-stuffs the season's containers on its own chassis, offers bonded duty-deferred storage through Vancouver so duty waits until product moves, picks cartons for retail orders and single parcels for e-commerce from one pool of stock, and delivers to stores across Western Canada on its own trucks, including a Calgary lane six days a week. Rolls Right already moves apparel for national and global brands, and full-service apparel warehousing — receive, store, pick, pack, ship — runs on the Vancouver floor today.

The problem
What usually goes wrong.
An apparel season doesn't arrive evenly. It lands in a wave of containers on the sailing schedule — months of stock at once — and every carton starts costing duty the moment it clears, whether the product sells in week one or month four.
Then it ships out two ways at once. Retail orders leave as cartons against routing guides and booked appointment windows; e-commerce leaves as single parcels. Split the inventory between a retail warehouse and a fulfillment house and you pay to be wrong twice — one pool sits idle while the other sells out. One building holding one pool of stock, shipping both channels, is the boring answer that works.
This is a sector we already work in every day: store deliveries for national apparel retailers across Western Canada, and full-service apparel warehousing running on the Vancouver floor right now. Bring us the season's container schedule and we'll quote the whole chain — drayage, de-stuff, storage, both channels, and the truck.

Why us
We're already in those buildings.
We move apparel for these brands every week — store deliveries and dedicated Western Canada lanes, on relationships that run a decade or more. That is a haulage claim, not a claim that each one warehouses with us — but it is why store delivery windows, DC routing guides and retail compliance are familiar ground.
Where it runs
Served from Vancouver and Calgary.
Our established Lower Mainland operation, carrying the full service menu, built up alongside customers who grew with us.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Can you ship retail and e-commerce orders from the same inventory?
Yes — one pool of stock in one building, shipping through whichever channel needs it. Cartons pick to retail routing guides with booked DC appointments, and single parcels pick, pack and ship direct to the consumer. No transfers between warehouses, no double safety stock. And when a wholesale program needs stock held back, tell us the split and the floor holds it that way, with the rest staying live for web orders.
Wholesale buyers reject broken size runs. How do you protect the curve?
By counting at the level apparel is actually sold: the size. Stock is received, put away and picked by SKU and size, so a run that breaks shows up in the inventory before a buyer sees it in a carton. And because retail and web orders draw on one pool, a size that slows in one channel is still available to the other instead of sitting stranded in a second warehouse.
How does bonded storage help an apparel importer?
Duty on apparel is among the highest of any consumer import, and it normally falls due when the goods clear — not when they sell. Bonded, duty-deferred storage is available through Vancouver, so duty and GST wait until the product moves. One agreement with Rolls Right covers the container off the port, the de-stuff, the bonded hold and the onward freight once it clears.
Can you handle re-ticketing and retail compliance labelling?
Yes. Re-ticketing, price stickering, barcode application and mixed-SKU pallet builds to a routing guide are routine, and display and kit builds run in Vancouver. Send the spec and we'll walk the first run with you before it goes live.
The season is ending and half of it is still here. What are our options?
The same crew that ticketed the season in can re-ticket it out: markdown pricing, outlet stickering, or re-labelling for a different channel. Cartons then pick to outlet transfers, to your own stores, or to a buyer's dock, and the truck is ours either way. Terms are measured in months, so holding or clearing stays a decision rather than a deadline.
Do you deliver to stores?
Yes, on our own trucks. We run store deliveries for national apparel retailers across Western Canada today, including a Calgary lane six days a week — so the company holding your stock is the same one backing into the store or the DC.
What forms of stock do you handle?
Flat-packed cartons and polybagged units are the everyday case, palletised or floor-loaded in the container. If your line ships another way — hanging garments, or anything needing special handling — tell us exactly what you've got and we'll confirm the right handling before anyone quotes.
The season is already on the water. How fast can we be receiving?
Days. Onboarding is a credit check and a signed agreement, typically two to three days, and your first inbound is walked by a supervisor. If the containers are already sailing, we work backwards from the vessel's arrival, not from our calendar. That holds when the schedule bunches, too: if three sailings land in the same week, the chassis are ours and the terminal is 14 minutes away, so boxes turn on our timetable rather than queueing for rented equipment.
